Do you have a finance or legal degree plus experience with merger filings, with managing regulatory projects or similar experience? And would you like to take up a key role in Group Legal in a global, expanding company?
In this newly established role, you will have responsibility for ensuring that DSV runs optimal competition merger filing processes and for managing other legal regulatory and governance projects in particular within investment screening and data privacy managing the boundaries between processes and regulations.

Globally we are 70+ legal counsels and assistants in DSV Group Legal, and at our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of a central team, which oversees all legal aspects of M&A activities, legal regulatory and corporate governance, as well as Group Legal’s support to complex international contracts within procurement and customer projects.
The central team consists of 8 legal professionals, and our work is characterised by being truly international, fast paced and with have strong teamwork and enthusiasm.

Work on complex international regulatory matters
DSV has a strong track record of making significant international mergers and acquisitions, and as Competition Filing and Regulatory Projects Manager, you will be managing both preparatory and actual competition filing activities in DSV’s worldwide M&A activities. You will also be involved in supporting various other projects and activities in Group Legal on a continuous basis, in particular in relation to foreign direct investment screenings and to data privacy.

Work on complex international regulatory matters
DSV has a strong track record of making significant international mergers and acquisitions, and as Competition Filing and Regulatory Projects Manager, you will be managing both preparatory and actual competition filing activities in DSV’s worldwide M&A activities. You will also be involved in supporting various other projects and activities in Group Legal on a continuous basis, in particular in relation to foreign direct investment screenings and to data privacy.
More specifically, you will:
- Manage DSV’s competition filing readiness program which follows an annual cycle and requires extensive involvement with DSV’s regional and country managements;
- Supervise actual merger filings in M&A projects of varying nature worldwide, including interaction with international outside counsels;
- Oversee FDI/ investment screening filings associated with DSV’s M&A activities;
- Manage ongoing projects in relation to DSV’s global data privacy programme;
- Translate business needs and calibrate compliance risks into robust solutions;
- Cooperate with internal stakeholders and external business partners.
Team player with strong data analysis capabilities and project management skills

- Hold a university master’s degree in economy, business finance or law (e.g. if from a Danish university cand. merc. jur, cand. merc., cand. polit, or cand. jur.);
- Excel in analysis and structuring of complex data and in presenting your findings to stakeholders at all levels;
- Possess solid project management skills to secure scoping, progress and completion of the projects you are handling, whether this is a complex merger filing with tight deadlines or a data privacy compliance project;
- Preferably possess a solid understanding of legal regulations, ideally competition law and/or other relevant legal regulatory regimes, e.g. data privacy, or FDI;
- Have at least 3-4 years of post-qualification experience from a competition authority, another similar public authority, or a law firm, a professional service provider or corporation with international reach;
- Are fluent in written and oral English;
- Have a hands-on attitude and are solutions-oriented, a strong collaborator and easy-going.
