Do you want to lead a global team of very knowledgeable IT Solution Architects to ensure coherence and continuity across our global IT operations?

Join an international department
At IT Operations & Services, we maintain the entire global IT infrastructure in DSV, and we work with everything from data centres, network, storage and Cloud to our Office 365 solution. Here, you will join our technical force of more than 1,000 highly skilled colleagues situated all around the world supporting the organisation with critical IT infrastructure
Specifically, you will lead a small team of solution architects and report to Director Kim Walsøe Jensen, head of IT Strategy and Transformation within Global IT Operations & Services. You will ensure that quality, scalability and security is in place for new and existing solutions – both applications and infrastructure.
DSV has a well-known M&A strategy and support this is an essential part of the job.
Have the broader perspective on our architecture
It will be your responsibility to ensure coherent architecture across our applications and infrastructure. Working from our headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark or one of our other European locations, you will be connected to all parts of our IT organisation – and especially within Global IT Operations & Services.
You will act as a Manager for senior solution architects placed around the world ensuring continuity and leading the development of this function and through that ensure:

- End-to-end architectural responsible for the IT landscape in IT Operations
- Responsible for maintaining an overview of the IT landscape and technical dependencies
- Identify, educate and promote best practice across the organisation
- Optimise existing solutions to new requirements such as security or scalability
- Represent IT Operations on design approval board forums to verify and review new solutions designs
- Provide input to and enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles and global product specific guidelines
- Guide engineering staff throughout the construction phase as an infrastructure subject matter expert.
- Develop service descriptions and standard ways of working
- Extensive stakeholder management on many levels in the organisation
- Tasks are prioritized

Specifically, we imagine that you:
- Have substantial experience working with solution or enterprise architecture
- Have broad knowledge across infrastructure technologies
- Experience in leading and developing highly skilled specialists in multiple time zones
- Speak and write English – Danish is not a requirement
- Are proficient in Stakeholder Management.
- Are experienced in Resource Management.
- Have a positive attitude even when things heat up.
- Preferably also have experience with:
- Middleware Application Servers & Databases Engines
- General IT Security
- Solutions providing Web Applications/Databases/Infrastructure implementation
- API integration – Event-Driven – Messaging Systems (like MQ/Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Networking implementation of LB/FW/Proxy/WAF
- Open-source products such as Linux, Apache HTTP, Tomcat, Kafka and Mongo DB
- Cloud technologies and principles
