DSV is looking for a Manager for our local IT Infrastructure Service department covering Denmark. The IT team is a shared service supporting the three DSV companies (Road, Solutions, Air & Sea) and the DSV Group functions. The manager is also responsible for the VIP support.
As an IT Infrastructure Manager Denmark, you will be responsible for standardization, consolidation, stability and security for network, buildings, and servers across Denmark in a company with high ambitions and pace. DSV has a Merger & Acquisition strategy, and an important part of the role will be to support these M&A’s. There will be tasks coming from both the business and Global IT.
The team is based in various locations, however mainly in Hedehusene (Head Office) and Horsens. You will be part of a regional organisation covering Northern and Eastern Europe with Manager colleagues in NO, RU, BG and FI.
We are looking for a person who has a good knowledge about IT infrastructure, is good at cooperating and have good communication and stakeholder management skills. You thrive in a job with many tasks and can prioritize for both you and your team, if necessary.
As stated this manager role is also responsible for the VIP-support. At DSV this is a special support service offered to the three top tiers in the organisation. An important part of this area is stakeholder management so experience within this area is must.
IT Security is a top priority in DSV, so basic to intermediate knowledge and understanding of IT Security is a plus.
The Manager will report to the Senior Manager for infrastructure in Northern/Eastern Europe a part of the Global IT organisation.

Key tasks
- Lead and develop your team
- Resource planning
- Stakeholder management
- Prioritize work
- Handle escalations from the business
- Cooperate with the Global IT functions and coordinate IT initiatives
- IT project coordination
- Deliver flexible solutions to the business based on DSV standards
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience working within IT infrastructure
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar positions preferably in multi-national companies.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge with IT Security and Compliance
- Experience working with projects
- Proficient in communication towards all levels in an organisation
- Experience with distance management is an advantage
Personal skills
- Excellent leadership skills and able to take a deep breath when things become hectic.
- Able to communicate in both written and spoken Danish and English at business level.
- Have a structured and systematic approach and able to deliver on deadlines
- Pro-active and Resourceful
- You have a positive attitude and mindset
