Are you ready to take the lead on creating the foundation for our ongoing digitalization? And would you love to build up several expert teams from scratch?
Then join us for a position where you will both be managing and overseeing, while also getting hands-on with the technicalities. You and your coming teamssupport everything surrounding the development and upgrades of new and existing IT applications within DSV.

We have already climbed the first walls, and now we need you to ensure that we can navigate the ongoing labyrinth of taking IT to the next level,” says Andreas Gram Sørensen, Senior Director Enterprise Products and Digital Foundation in Global IT.
The first steps are already taken – ready for the long run?
IT in DSV is in a pivotal position right now, as we merge older with modern systems more suited for the digital era. We have the ideas for how to achieve this and we are eager to see them developed.
But if we want to keep up the pace, we must ensure quality and scalability. This is where your new Quality and Tooling Platform comes in.
Create and run the department that enables IT progression
You will be responsible for the presence of the necessary hardware, software, and framework to support our developers and boost the quality of their work. This also includes ensuring that documentation can be stored correctly and is available from everywhere, a smooth and efficient development life cycle, an automated testing setup etc.
We expect you to form 5-6 teams of experts within different areas, each consisting of 3-4 people. For the first 6-9 months, you will spend about 50 % of your time recruiting the right people and 50 % on strategic tasks like defining the frameworks, aligning stakeholders, and prioritizing the work to come.

After the first 3-4 years and the setup is created, your job might become more operational. Or it might not. Because frankly, we do not imagine that the technology will be at a standstill for quite a while.

- Set the strategic directions for our digital journey

- Worked as a software developer or the like before, so you have a general knowledge of the challenges that your teams will be experiencing
- Several years of IT management experience
- The ability to identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound practical judgement, experience, and analytical skills
- An excellent command of written and spoken English.
