Join the Oxfam IBIS Humanitarian Team
Oxfam IBIS works with long-term development and humanitarian responses in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. You will become part of our humanitarian response team working closely with colleagues in other units and departments.
In addition you will get a chance to be part of a dedicated and inspiring global community. We are member of Oxfam International. At any given time Oxfam is responding to over 30 emergency situations. Oxfam is also a strong actor in humanitarian advocacy work.

Oxfam IBIS will ascertain that all formal requirements with respect to strong professional monitoring of the learning and skills development of the interns are met. To this end, a supervisor will be selected among the team members to accompany, support and guide the intern.

As our new intern you will
- Support us in staying updated on relevant crises and displacement situations
- Contribute with knowledge and inputs to specific humanitarian interventions and focus areas (education in emergencies, participation, gender, youth, local partnership, displacement)
- Develop presentations and information papers.
- Provide logistical, communication and administration support

Qualifications:
The right candidate:
- Is undertaking a relevant higher education
- Has strong analytical skills
- Has skills and experience in documentation and written communication
- Is fluent in English. Arabic is an advantage
- Is energetic, curious and able to work independently and as part of a team
