Frese A/S is a world-leading manufacturer of innovative dynamic valves and controls for the global HVAC market. Frese A/S wants to not only deliver high-quality components, but also to provide the data and deep insight necessary to achieve a more energy efficient and sustainable future.
Frese A/S is a family-owned business with an eye for the long game and wants to continue developing intelligent solutions for the people who construct the buildings, the people who live and work in them, and the environment that surrounds them. Frese A/S is a global company, but the base of this position remains in Slagelse, Denmark, approximately one hour from Copenhagen.
Overall, you will be managing the electrical and digital HVAC product portfolio, ensuring further product development in the existing product programmes, as well as adding new products and services to the portfolio. For the right person, there will be many opportunities for professional development, and you will become part of a global, diverse, and cross-functional team of competent and skilled colleagues.
Profound application expertise and a strategic commercial mind-set
As a Global Digital Product Manager, it will be your responsibility to develop and maintain parts of the Frese A/S product portfolio so that it meets market demands and global mega trends. You will have the overall strategic and operational responsibility for the entire product life cycle from concept generation to phase out including financial performance. You will act as product owner in new product development and lead the commercial product launches.

With your highly proactive and structured approach to your work, Frese A/S will rely on you to manage your own product range and to deliver excellent support to your stakeholders.
Technical, strategic, and with commercial drive
You hold a BA in Engineering (electrical, mechatronics or software), possibly with a commercial add on. It is important that you have a proven track record within product management.
You possess a unique blend of technical, strategic, and commercial knowledge, enabling you to conceptualise and drive ideas into real-life products and services. On a more personal level, you are comfortable working in an environment where priorities often change.
With your global mind-set and excellent communication skills, you can communicate efficiently across all levels of the organisation. You are business- and customer-oriented and working together with other experts brings out your best ideas. Furthermore, you are persistent, have excellent analytical skills and are self-driven. You are dedicated to creating sustainable impact, and you do what it takes to get the job done. Last but not least, you are fluent in both written and spoken English, not necessarily Danish.

Other responsibilities will include:
- Development and execution of business development strategies and plans as well as a strategy and roadmap for the digital product portfolio
- Development of sales tools and strong and compelling value propositions towards the customers, clearly demonstrating competitive advantages and benefits for the customers
- Training and development of stakeholders across the value chain as the application and systems expert for the digital product portfolio within commercial buildings
- Participation in global customer and application visits and analysis to support technical and commercial discussions and problem solving
- Identification, establishment, and business leadership of strategic capability and technology supplier relations as well as commercial partnerships supporting the strategy and portfolio
- Development of market analysis to assess market information, market trends, market share analysis, and competitive analysis
- Development and execution of the digital transformation strategy and journey for Frese A/S, including new digital business models
