About the department
Become a part of Novo Nordisk diabetes care manufacturing of finished products, counting more than 6,000 employees across seven production sites and five countries. We are the final but very important link in the values chain, before the finished products can be shipped to patients all over the world. In finished product sections in Kalundborg, our 250 employees are responsible for assembly and packaging of diabetes products on our fully automated production lines.
The team consist of 15 highly motivated and dedicated project managers, professionals, lab/tech, administrative and interns. The team support DFP KA by manage projects in the project portfolio, secure validation resources to projects and optimise and develop the use of new technologies in packaging, assembly and warehouse processes – also called FutureFP.
The position
As manager for Project- and back office you will play a key role in setting the direction for the project portfolio in DFP KA. It is your responsibility to have an overview of projects in DFP KA, know the impact on the organisation and secure right level of communication to your stakeholders in DFP. You support the project managers in succeeding with their project and set direction for how to manage a project in DFP KA.
Your tasks will also include managing and develop the organisation in FutureFP. You and the employees will identify, challenge and drive an innovative development of the processes in the production of Finished Products. You are the host when Development or other production sites wants to test and develop new solutions on our packaging test line or robotic test area.
As associate manager you will naturally lead by example and drive high performance by being a highly visible manager who provides sparring and coaching to your employees.
Qualifications
To be successful in this job, you must already have proven managerial experience either as team leader or manage complex projects on a large scale in a GMP-regulated industry. We imagine you have a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology or another relevant field and at least 2 years of relevant experience with project execution. You will have a central role in DFP KA with a broad stakeholder list, therefore you need to demonstrate an understanding of different organisational departments and functions as well.
On a personal level, you possess an innovative mind-set and focus on continuous improvements. You bring forward a can-do attitude and see opportunities rather than limitations. Furthermore, you have strong leadership skills and a proven ability to build relationships, empower and get commitment from internal and external stakeholders.
