How you might spend your days
As Senior Commission Manager, you have a fundamental desire to make a difference by securing a safe construction/ commissioning site delivering high quality, on-time and will:
- secure that we set safety first by demonstration clear leadership in this respect
- adhere to all health, safety and environmental guidelines at all sites to ensure the occupational safety of employees on construction sites as well as to comply with regulatory requirements
- have safety oversight of the CQ team, in conjunction with the project safety group
- manage and report on their workload and progress to the Project Vice President. Oversight and implementation of the defined CQ Program, ensuring quality delivery
- work collaboratively with project support groups (e.g., process, mechanical, E&I, utilities, automation, construction, engineering, end user) and their management and opinion leaders to influence decisions.
- liaise with project team in relation to construction readiness and a schedule for all Upstream / Downstream systems.
- create technical oversight and guidance to the CQ team.
- be responsible for the management of commissioning planning, plan of commissioning resources, time according to customer requirements and expectations and secure fulfilment of plans
- approve allocation and prioritization of key resources together with Line and Project Management
- use your exceptional stakeholder management skills and take part in building and coordinating customer relationships at local site or business entity
- help customers in understanding project deliverables and consequently resource/competence requirements.
ensure project compliance and ensure that the NNE quality system, standards and methods, including Our Model, are the basis for execution as applicable. - secure that the site management teams are organized in a way that allows full utilization and ensure feedback and development of team members
- coordinate commissioning works together with our competent construction and commissioning managers
- develop and implement robust commissioning strategies together with the project teams
- support the development, with colleagues in the project organization
- focus on individual’s ability to grow their skills and develop the tools they need for business success.

- have a leadership background and experience from similar position
- are interested in working in an energetic environment, are highly engaged and want to work with highly skilled colleagues
- thrive in leading, inspiring, and developing highly skilled staff and further develop the site management discipline
- have strong leadership experience from working with project teams
- have an understanding of project governance structures
- are experienced working closely with customer Project & Construction managers and key project team members
- have experience in coaching project team members. Global working experience is preferred but not a requirement
- have exceptional stakeholder management skills and take part in building and coordinating customer relationships at local site
- help customers in understanding project deliverables and consequently resource/competence requirements.
The miles you’ve walked
To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to succeed in this role:
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in commissioning management, preferably from pharma & biotech industries.
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or similar
- A proven track record on successful delivery of complex and large volume construction projects in compliance with agreed cost, schedule and quality targets and in compliance with legal, regulatory and internal Group guidelines and requirements
- Fluent in English, spoken and written and fluent in Danish is an advantage
- Computer skills – spreadsheets, word processing, Visio, MS project.
