We are looking for a new Head of Capability Building to lead our competence development activities within the Maersk Procurement department.
You will lead the small Capability Building team, which is responsible for Maersk Procurement Academy, two high profile talent programs and various functional learning activities across the globe. We design, plan and execute courses and learning activities covering short learning sessions on webinars, online training, class-room training, events and larger development programs.

Your main responsibilities will amongst others include:
• Drive our internal talent programs: The Maersk International Procurement Program (MIPP) and The Exchange Programme.
• In consultation with stakeholders, management and subject matter experts you will identify employee capability requirements to deliver operational and strategic objectives. In this regard, you and the team will drive our Learning Frameworks which includes; our skill assessment tools and our learning management system.
• Ensure that our training activities are developed (online or class-room based), facilitated and conducted in a professional way by ensuring all practical issues are taking care of. This includes nomination of internal trainers as well as selection of external vendors.
• Explore new learning practises that relates to digitization.
• Lead and develop the capability team which counts 2-3 employees.
The job is located in Copenhagen at the head quarter of Maersk. We expect the right candidate to start no later than 1 April.
You will have business as well as people development experience and believe that having and using the right capabilities and behaviour is the essence for performance.
You also have experience and knowledge of procurement activities and organisations or at least within another business function (sales, technology, logistics etc.). You hold a Master degree within business or economics and have a very keen interest for Human Resource Development.
As a person, you are very business oriented, highly driven and result oriented, excellent in communication and presentation skills. You also have an outgoing nature and a professional approach to our stakeholders. In addition, your structured work approach, overview and eye for details enable you to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a hectic environment.
You will have many internal and external contacts so your command of English should be excellent – written as well as spoken.
