This is a unique opportunity where you, as Commercial Manager in Center SCM Product team, will play an important role in building the future roadmap and enable the sales organization to effectively sell the SCM product.

The role is mainly responsible for strong positioning of Maersk’s SCM product, along with additional value-creating services, towards the customer via our Sales organization.
Position responsibilities include:
• Analysis of market landscape and vertical specific needs and trends
• Formulation of value propositions and related sales and marketing collateral
• Tender support
• Product trainings
• Internal communication
• Customer meetings
• Uncovering new revenue streams and product solutions (bundles) - focus on buyer experience/personas
• Book of Business reviews
• Customer retention
• Drive revenue growth
• Constantly evaluate the value proposition by assessing the competitive landscape.
For this role, a combination of professional approach to product management and strong commercial acumen is required. Relevant expertise in logistics industry is required.

• Leading Market and Competition research with center marketing / other center functions, supported by own secondary research

• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills; both written and verbal. At ease to interact across all cross-sections
• Knowledge and comfort in dealing with new-age digital landscape and technologies, though no technical expertise required
• The ability to work and thrive in a flexible and dynamic matrix organization with a focus on networking, collaboration and adaptability.
• Strong drive, initiative and engagement – ability to work self-directed and well organized
• Collaborative mindset, open to feedback
• Experience in working with Agile, or be very open to adopt the framework in true spirit
