As the Head of Business Implementation you will be responsible for leading the development of large and complex implementation projects such as the implementation of new customers, relocations of operations, facility construction, optimization of existing operations or strategic internal projects according to the Maersk project management methodology.

• Providing leadership to the Maersk and Customer Project team(s) within Air/LCL in the development and alignment of complex business implementation projects including the management of project communication, reporting and agenda of working group to steering group level and leading customer meetings for reporting project progress
• Leading, establishing and ensuring communication with the customers/senior leaders to agree and document the project scope and changes to scope. Appraisal and resolution of any timeline, resource, operational or project budget implications
• Managing the project in accordance with all agreed budgets, covering implementation, capital investments and operational running. Defining, reporting and resolving all budgetary issues
• Acting as single point of contact for the project, while adhering to the company guidelines to enhance and protect the image of the company and its officers. Leading effective business through detailed and accurate project forecasting, planning and delivery through written documents and customer/internal presentations
• Managing customers’ expectations and facilitating communication to ensure customer and company’s requirements are met. Respecting financial aspects and establishing critical performance metrics. Communication of project progress issues, escalating and facilitating resolutions where required
• Ensuring staff and resources are efficient and effective to achieve commitments to the customer and highest quality levels. Interaction and assisting with escalated needs or concerns
• Comprehensive insight in 3PL and strategic thinking
• Approx. 10 years’ experience in operational or general management
• Customer centric mindset
• Abundant operational product knowledge and experience
• Ambitious growth confidence
• Strong project and change management skills
• Team building skills
