An exciting role where work will vary from independent projects concerning part of the overall value proposition for the segment, to be a key team player in transforming our sales engagement model with the customers.
Particularly with Efficiency, work must navigate a delicate landscape where customers can be supplier and competitor simultaneously.
The segment has over 30,000 customers who vary in size, needs, spend and approach to Maersk’s Integrator Strategy. We must pursue new ways of engaging with these customers with respect to products, services, technology, communication and collaboration models.
In order for the segment to be successful, the candidate must interact with a coalition of departments from head quarter functions to branch sales.
This role is based in Copenhagen and you need to be an EU national or have a work permit to be considered for this role.
Reporting to the Head of Segment you will be jointly responsible for researching, building and driving the segment strategies on behalf of the department.
The Efficiency and Super Saver segments constitute just under half of the Ocean Maersk Liner Business and a significant Logistics and Services spend.
Other key tasks:
• Financial analysis
• Product research
• Project management
• Stakeholder engagement
• Thought leadership work (internal white papers)
• Driving the right segment brand
• Voice of the segment within Maersk
• Driving workshops
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of industry experience. You will have very strong project management skills – as well as stakeholder management experience, at all levels.
You have an analytical mindset as well as being a creative thinking individual.
Furthermore you:
• Have research orientation
• Have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills in English
• Are a strong team player
• Have the ability to work independently
