We are looking for an experienced tech product leader to build a newly formed team responsible for all activities with our EDI strategic integration engines and modernization efforts across the estate.
You will be part of the leadership team of the Direct Customer & Platform Integration function in Maersk.

As Head of Strategic Platform and Modernisation, you will define and drive the strategy and roadmap for our strategic tech estate and modernisation efforts across the legacy EDI platforms to ensure adoption to our strategic platform; this will cross products and platforms to include reengineering towards the modernization roadmap across the tech landscape related to EDI.
Develop and own the EDI modernization roadmap across all products and offerings including elimination of technical debt and own commercial strategy for complementary offerings e.g. APIs.
Lead both direct and in-direct team members, business and tech leaders to understand strategic priorities while influencing them to align with the strategy.
Manage incoming requests from other platforms and effectively drive prioritization together with team.
Monitors and improves product health.
Educate and facilitate global EDI & integration capability knowledge cross global business, sales, customer service teams to enable customer pursuit and onboarding via Maersk direct integration solutions
Acting as a servant leader and collaborating across a global, multi-cultural organization that acts as the backbone of numerous business critical processes and applications in a fast paced, highly visible capability.
You will collaborate closely with other members of the product management team, Engineering, DevOps, business product owners and platform leaders. It is critical that you are visionary but can execute while developing and have fantastic interpersonal skills.
You are a strategic product leader with a solid technical understanding preferably in the EDI & integrations space. You are just as comfortable speaking with Engineers as you are in speaking with commercial leaders and customers
B2B Integration experience across multiple EDI translators, engagement with partners on various solutions, knowledge about formats such as XML, ANSI X12, EDIFACT.
Experience & knowledge about common communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2, webservices, API, etc.
Experience with large scale migration plans and activities, transitioning integration partners across landscapes & applications, knowledge about challenges, opportunities and common problems associated with such activities.
Demonstrated experience in establishing product plans and roadmaps based on prioritization of opportunities, deep understanding of customer needs, and the organization’s ability to execute.
Solid IT solution background within transportation and logistics industry
Proven leadership skills of international high performing teams
Strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
BS/BA degree. Major in Computer Science preferred.
Pragmatic Marketing or similar Product Management certification preferred.
Agile SCRUM Product Owner or Scrum Master certification preferred
Good team player and Can-do spirit.
Able and willing to travel based on business requirements, 2-3 weeks per year.
