We offer


An interesting role where you will have high exposure to client operations and senior stakeholders from all functions of the L&S division.

You have high input into the delivery of the global development plan for CL Product, with specific focus on Operations Development, global rollout and development of the Global Contract Logistics Operations Programme.

You will also be involved in systems development / Automation Opportunities (both internally and Industry Best Practice) and have the ability to directly influence how Maersk CL Product Operations perform, improve and develop globally.

Key responsibilities


• Lead and facilitate monthly and adhoc discussions with Area and Site Leaders regarding both financial and operational performance

• Work closely with CEN CI (Continuous Improvement) and Area and Sites Leaders to initiate CI and transformation projects

• Lead discussions with BI (Business Intelligence) and IT with regards to financial reporting, fix hiccups in current BI platform, reporting data streams, and possible enhancement to the BI structure

• Be a key player in driving performance in the overall CL network through deep analysis of warehousing operations and financial statements on a monthly basis

• Continuous development of performance measures, KPI’s, and rolling them across the globe, while ensuring needed data and IT structure are available to support

• Drive monthly forecasting and bi-annual target setting process that is in line with strategic goals and improvement targets.

• Liaise with Operations, CI, Process Management in all performance related matters. Provide performance visibility and in-depth root cause analysis on performance fluctuations to drive sustainable profitability towards targets.

• Have close collaboration with Finance and Sales to identify facilities with constant abundant capacity so efforts can be directed in acquiring new customers; or with chronic over-capacity so footprint expansion can be considered

• Ensure flawless customer service to ensure client retention through the achievement of agreed KPI’s.

We are looking for


The ideal candidate will have minimum 8 years’ experience in a mid to Senior Operations Managerial Role (within a Contract Logistics / Warehousing Operation Environment).

You have deep understanding of physical management of warehousing operations, financial management, Warehouse Management Systems, Transport Management Systems, and other Operating and Financial Systems used within Warehousing and Depot Operations Environment

Furthermore you:

• Have strong influencing skills and stakeholder management experience

• Have process improvement, CI/Lean, & Project Management experience

• Are result driven combined with the ability to achieve results through people

• Should possess strong leadership and communication skills

• Are an analytical thinker, strong strategic and analytical mindset

• Have the ability to influence/lead discussions with senior stakeholders to achieve collaborative results.
