To support this strategy, we have a fantastic role for passionate individual to join our team as a Capital Investments HSE Manager. Covering Expansion, M&A, and operational renewal programs, you will help drive safe and resilient growth across Maersk.

Reporting to the Global Environment and HSE Capital Investments Lead you will be part of integrating and undertaking HSE risk profiling activities in early stages of our capital investment activities.
Other key tasks:
• Developing, scoping and delivering HSE due diligence activities
• Integrating HSE assessment, management, and assurance processes throughout capital investment programs (e.g. “Go-Live” stage-gate reviews)
• Providing HSE input into capital investments processes such as APM Terminals Integration Framework
• Integrating HSE Management Framework controls into technical standards (e.g. GERs and SERs) and integration of new technical standards and their requirements into the HSE Management Framework
• Defining HSE resource requirements and inclusion of these into execution and integration plans
• Integrating contractor selection and management processes within capital investment frameworks
• Assuring work scopes for consultants and contractors include necessary HSE performance requirements and safeguards
• Working closely with and supporting the Senior HSE Business Partner - Projects and MnR
• Advise on HSE aspects of constructability, maintainability, and operability within capital investments.
The ideal candidate will have B.Sc / M.Sc in a Health and Safety disciple or a similar field combined with 5+ years’ experience in an HSE Advisory role delivering infrastructure projects or major M&A programs. Demonstrable equivalence including on the-job experience welcome.
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage people at the same time as you have the ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
You have strong negotiation and influencing skills - Ability to verbally communicate concepts, and influence and inspire others and you have the ability to deliver HSE requirements through others.
Furthermore you:
• Have excellent group and process facilitation skills.
• Have excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Have a membership of a professional institution (e.g. IOSH, ASSP).
• Have formal HSE qualification such as NEBOSH National Diploma / General Certificate
• Have project management experience.
• Ideally have Terminal/Port/landside logistics knowledge or transferable industry experience.
You need to be fluent in English verbally and written - a second language desirable.
