The Global Vertical Excellence Manager is responsible to drive collaboration with other functions, regions, and areas for the specific vertical to expand vertical strategy adoption, industry expertise and representation in alignment with the Global Vertical strategy. This also includes ownership and continuous development of the vertical representation, connecting the value propositions, relevant industry trends as well as expertise to support sales pursuits across the Vertical.

You will be responsible for increasing the Vertical representation and connection into the areas by collaborating with various function (e.g. Products, Customer insights, KCM’s, Area Vertical Heads, etc.) in alignment with the Vertical strategy roll out.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Support the Strategic Development of the Global Vertical: Drive the Roadmap development; Coordinate Sub-Vertical developments; Coordinate strategic alignments with Product Management teams
• Key Account support activities: Provide guidance and support on budget and account development planning process, support account-specific reporting activities
• Community sharing and collating of relevant insights, trends and new product launches based on internal research and collaboration with the product teams
• Management of the Vertical Excellence activities: Build up industry-specific market knowledge and expertise; Coordinate & monitor reporting activities in collaboration with Finance and Areas; Drive a regular Vertical meeting governance; Support marketing activities
• Specific project ownership on behalf of the Vertical: Including value propositions for specific sub-vertical or regional scope, specific thought leadership pieces etc.
The ideal candidate will have firm knowledge of Supply Chain product and solution portfolios and general logistics processes.
You have sound understanding of the Technology industry and High-Tech supply chain requirements.
You have a proven track record in a matrix, multi-cultural organization, building strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally.
Furthermore you:
• Have excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and program management skills
• Are a self-starter, willing to think outside of the box and connect the dots across different products and services
• Have the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and requirements
• Ideally have Project Management experience
• Enjoy working in Global Teams
• Have analytical and research skills
• Have extensive presentation skills
