Lifestyle (covering band-owning Fashion, Sports, Textiles, and Toy companies), is one of our largest industry vertical with further potential to drive integrated solutions across the global customer base. This drive requires coordination and collaboration across functions in Maersk as we build unique value proposition and experience for customers.
The Global Vertical Excellence Manager is responsible to drive collaboration with other functions, regions, and areas to support the vertical strategy adoption and be an ambassador for the vertical. The role includes ownership over the continuous development of the Lifestyle vertical within our CRM and the sales enablement platform connecting the value propositions, as well as industry trends, and expertise to support sales pursuits across the vertical.

You will be responsible for increasing vertical representation and connection into area by collaborating with various function (e.g. products, customer insights, area vertical heads, etc.) in alignment with vertical strategy roll out including but is not limited to:
• Support the strategic development of the vertical driving global vertical roadmaps development, coordinate value proposition developments and exchanges, coordinate strategic alignment with product management including targets, alignment on strategic opportunities, identification of growth potential and focus.
• Contribute to customer meetings as well as customer peer sharing sessions like customer round tables, panels in conferences etc.
• Management of the vertical excellence activities including building up industry-specific market knowledge and expertise, owning the sales enablement content for the Lifestyle vertical globally, coordinating & monitoring reporting activities in collaboration with finance and areas/countries.
The ideal candidate will have +10 years working within the Third Party Logistics industry preferably in a client facing or product design role.
You have strong knowledge of logistics processes, solution design outlines, and supply chains ideally in the context of the Lifestyle industry.
You have proven track record in a matrix, multi-cultural organisation, building strong relationships and networks both locally as well as internationally.
Furthermore you are a consummate communicator and presenter, as well as a self-starter and willing to think outside of the box and connect the dots across different products and services.
Experience within the Lifestyle industry would be a big plus.
