• Responsible for organization of scrum teams to ensure that key scrum events take place and are effective in achieving their purpose
• Responsible for guiding the Product & Customer Engineering Directors in implementing and managing Agile best practices
• Participate in key scrum events as part of the Sprint and ceremony schedule
• Organize and run sprint planning meetings, ensuring the team reach a collective agreement on the user stories that will be accepted into the sprint (i.e. there is an agreed sprint backlog and sprint plan)
• Organize and run the daily scrum meetings (stand ups) and ensuring there is active participation from the team
• Provide transparency and visibility on the team's activity/progress using shared tools and reports
• Track and use empirical data of scrum team story points commitment and completion through historic sprints to inform estimating and drive for improvement in overall velocity
• Identify and remove any potential impediments/blockers to the delivery of the agreed sprint commitment and manage any emerging dependencies throughout the sprint, escalating where necessary
• Advocate and demonstrate the benefits of the Agile Process in the wider organization and build agile capability

• Ability to lead, motivate and influence teams particularly in complex and challenging environments
• Ability to build, maintain and collaborate in relations across multiple functions and seniority levels
• Ability to continuously improve and shape the agile approach to suit the Digital organization
• Excellent team working, collaboration and communication skills
• Create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints
• Managing timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies
• Experience in a scrum master role
• Familiarity with software development
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artefacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
• Outstanding organizational skills
