Key responsibilities
We offer a role with plenty of opportunity to perform and grow:
• Facilitate the definition of standards, policies and principles whilst effectively enable Maersk to be ahead of the curve on how we live up to our ambition on data ethics
• Ownership of the data protection and data ethics roadmap. Shape and execute the roadmap aimed at implementing required data protection standards, controls, automated reporting and organizational assets
• Establish and manage decision framework, AI/ML model register and training aids for communicating principles and supporting collateral to operationalize the principles with tools, playbooks and training
• Provide thought leadership and virtual team leadership across teams involved in data protection and data ethics
• Establish and maintain the data protection & data ethics scorecard. Provide audit and review use cases to elevate potential areas of algorithmic bias and lack of transparency in development and deployment work
• Work with leaders across Maersk to understand privacy, legal, and ethical considerations in the use of AI/ML and analytics and promote best practices. (e.g. facilitate communication and alignment of internal policies, principles, governance, policy integration, sensitive use case approvals, define and review aggregate risks)
• Have a pulse on global laws, ethnographic considerations, and overall stance on topics of ethics, fairness, and social responsibility

We are looking for
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, we expect you to bring:
• 8-10 years of business focused technology experience
• Effective leadership skill with ability to influence without authority and deliver through virtual teams
• Strong product management skill set with emphasis on discovery and hypothesis testing
• Experience with data ethics, data privacy and/or general environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG)
• Ability to define and lead a portfolio and roadmap of initiatives to optimize outcomes
• Experience with program delivery in data & analytics orgs
• High personal agility and ability to deal with ambiguity
• Demonstrated ability to comfortably shift between strategic thinking and execution, and easily connect the two
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
• Ability to present complicated technology concepts in a simple manner, and to communicate key technology challenges or overviews relevant to senior technology leadership
• Curiosity to learn about the Global Data & Analytics team and data technology concepts, maintaining an extensive network with up-to-date knowledge of what has mainstream/enterprise relevance to Maersk
• High ambitions and a strong appetite for personal development to make the most of this excellent career opportunity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Interest and experience with politics and legislation within technology and data e.g. the “A Europe Fit for the Digital Age” initiative
• Knowledge of the shipping and/or logistics industry
