Maersk Logistics & Services is a shareholder in a large number of joint ventures and is creating a central JV management function to promote a global JV governance agenda and strengthen JV management both at portfolio level and in the individual JVs.
The Head of JV Management will work closely with JV directors and other senior stakeholders to ensure that new and existing JVs are managed in a way that serves Maersk's long-term strategic goals and protects Maersk's interests.
The successful candidate will work across Maersk, interacting with stakeholders specialising in a variety of disciplines to establish a structured and consistent framework for JV management in Maersk Logistics & Services.

Key responsibilities
The Head of JV Management will be responsible for:
• Adapting and managing the implementation of Maersk's existing Joint Venture Governance and Management Framework in Maersk Logistics & Services
• Creating clear global guidelines for the establishment of new L&S JVs
• Working with the Maersk L&S organisation to ensure that clear strategic targets are set for all JVs, ensuring that such goals are clearly communicated to all relevant stakeholders and regularly followed up upon
• Supporting JV directors with easy to use tools and guidelines to improve the management of the individual JVs thereby minimizing the risks and improving the value Maersk can gain from its JVs interests
• Providing JV directors with sparring and training to fulfil their roles and establishing an internal pipeline of future directors to ensure succession
• Continuously improving and maintaining Maersk's institutional knowledge and corporate memory of L&S JVs
We are looking for
• Experience with corporate governance, joint venture management and, preferably, implementation and management of global programmes in multinational companies
• Strong project management and execution skills. The ability to move projects forward by gaining the support needed from others while working in a cross-functional role is key
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience with O365
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Enthusiasm and drive to succeed in progressing the JV management agenda
