Key responsibilities
Facilitate top initiatives in the Service Delivery portfolio driving cohesive decisioning across the leadership team and continued progress by teams.
• Facilitate and document the Leadership strategy – zoom in on relevant topics to the broader team to ensure visibility and tracking of key progress and incoming scope, including Town Halls, Leadership Off-sites, and Executive briefings for organizational imperatives and communications (e.g. annual goals, organizational strategies, etc.)
• Develop reusable content, with quarterly refresh of communications materials tailored by audience type (External, Business and Technical) given a variety of templates and formats
• Oversee the SD portfolio (budget, resources, etc..) submissions with Finance partners and Directors. Collaborate with HR Partners on recruiting, including headcount to sourcing and final start. Develop cost allocation recommendations relative to strategic priorities, including resource quality and consolidation, minimizing forecast variances.
• Facilitate employee engagement, including activities such as team celebratory events, DataThon (Hacking Event), engineering training/Upskill programs and Industry Engagement and planning of conferences
• Develop, document and publish an automated product value and success metric framework (linked directly to the Business Outcomes, Tech Strategy, SD Strategy) to foster continuous improvement methodologies in day-to-day activities (e.g. quality, optimization, automation)
We are looking for
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
In this role you will be the Portfolio Manager for the Service Delivery Platform, supporting the technology and governance ecosystem of data. To succeed in this role, we expect you to bring:
• 3-5+ years delivering communication content in clear, concise and compelling manner to various audiences, including Board, Business and external forums, as well as CTIO strategy communications
• Drive and ownership of complex tasks and projects to mitigate risk for the Portfolio platforms. Diligence in careful evaluation and anticipation of risks, considering mitigations before taking action, clearly articulating options and their impacts/consequences. Course correction, expecting to fail fast and respond efficiently.
• Ability to facilitate ongoing prioritization discussions, obtain consensus among stakeholders and carry those decisions through to communication materials, with refresh as needed
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, issue resolution, negotiation, and relationship management. Ability to demonstrate value by alleviating communications and portfolio prioritization workload(s) from the leadership team
• Ability to present complicated technology concepts in a simple manner, and to communicate key technology challenges or overviews relevant to senior technology leadership (C Level Execs)
• Curiosity to learn about the Service Deliver teams and technology concepts, maintaining an extensive network with up-to-date knowledge of what has mainstream/enterprise relevance to Maersk. High ambitions and a strong appetite for personal development to make the most of this excellent career stepping stone
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in communications, public and/or internal
Strong project management background and collaboration skills.
Intermediate or expert skills in office applications, data analysis and visualization tools.
Knowledge of the shipping and/or logistics industry
Technical background a plus.
