We offer you an exciting global role within the Cold Supply Chain industry, delivering competitive temperature-controlled logistics to our customers trading perishables which plays a vital role in feeding the world. In this Headquarter role you will have the opportunity to support our frontline business globally, working closely with colleagues across all world regions to grow our Cold Chain Logistics footprint and portfolio.

Key responsibilities


Overall responsibility is to drive the development and implementation of the Cold Chain Logistics’ (CCL) Strategy across all CCL sub-products and enhance CCL’s positioning and contribution within Maersk’s Logistics & Services (L&S) portfolio.

Main responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Responsible for formulating the commercial strategy as well as delivering and executing the short-term and long-term strategic initiatives for growth
• Support the team in setting and reaching yearly targets (Financial Forecasts and Volumetrics)
• Strategically determine the cold store footprint expansion to deliver on the integrator strategy
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise to frontline CCL colleagues to support designing competitive end-to-end logistics solutions. This includes validating value proposition, costing structures and that pricing follows global guidelines to ensure lucrative commercial models
• Drive the commercial organization towards a proactive, consultative and value-based selling mindset and ensure availability of relevant supporting material
• Support frontline colleagues in growing the pipeline globally and drive the use of the global CRM to make it “the single source of truth”
• Perform data-based market activation to identify key temperature-controlled markets/segments to tap into for propelling CCL growth
• Maintain CCL’s competitiveness in the market through innovative solution offerings and new product development plans
• Provide input to M&A target qualification activities and support in acquisition implementation as requested
• Occasionally engage in strategic RFQs / complex proposals to improve win rates
• Drive cross-functional alignment with:
- Other L&S Product families within Maersk to deliver product standardization and harmonization
- Ocean and Sales teams for joint focus on opportunities and improved win rates (mainly for Food and Pharmaceuticals, Retail and FMCG segments)

We are looking for


• Self-driven, proactive contributor who thrives in a team dynamic
• Extensive reefer/cold chain industry knowledge and good understanding of refrigerated operational flows.
• Strong strategic mindset and business acumen including experience in rolling out go-to-market strategies
• Broad understanding of the value drivers in logistics and supply chain
• Proficient understanding of Profit and Loss and key financial metrics
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to facilitate cross-functional alignment, decision-making and execution
• Ability to review and challenge investment proposals (both commercial and operational assumptions and financials metrics) presented to the Board
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
