The Senior Compliance Risk & Control Manager will play a pivotal role in the Compliance Programme Implementation team by delivering compliance implementation projects while also supporting the team in creating a standardized, technology-based, and scalable compliance infrastructure.

Key responsibilities


The key responsibility of the Senior Compliance Risk & Control Manager will be to own and drive the risk and control environment to support our journey towards more effective compliance risk management, e.g.:

• Develop and own an integrated compliance risk framework
• Design and lead compliance risk assessments
• Own the compliance internal controls framework; hereunder
• Support the design and implementation of controls to ensure compliance
• Support and ensure validation of controls
• Take responsible for ineffective controls to understand root course and evaluate for next step and solutioning
• Develop it further with a key focus on effectiveness and automated solutions

The Senior Compliance Risk & Control Manager will be the overall responsible for the risk assessment and control environment relating to anti-corruption, sanctions and export controls, competition law and data ethics/data privacy and work closely with subject matter expert teams to help our global business meaningfully comply with complex and evolving compliance requirements.

Key tasks:
• Develop and drive an integrated compliance risk framework
• Design and lead compliance risk assessments
• Own the Compliance internal controls framework (from a Compliance Operations perspective) and drive further improvements with a key focus on effectiveness and automated solutions
• Support our journey towards more effective use of compliance data, including for the purpose of a more dynamic risk view and real-time monitoring
• Manage and further develop relationships with partner functions such as Group Risk & Controls, IT and the Finance community
• Monitor regulatory guidance and make relevant changes to the compliance risk and control landscape.

We are looking for


The ideal candidate will have +8 years of project management experience within the compliance, risk and controls, and/or auditing space.

You also have experience with managing international, cross-functional projects.

You have a collaborative work style which fosters cooperation, teamwork, and stakeholder management.

Furthermore you:

• Have strong time management to manage multiple priorities

• Have the ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company

• Strong capacity to coordinate and translate between various stakeholders with the objective of timely and successful project delivery

• High integrity and personal ethics, professional in communication, ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations.
