We offer


Reporting to the Head of Global HSE Improvement the Senior HSSE Ways of Working Lead is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the execution of HSE team deliverables and communication, including feedback on implementation learning.

You will own the APMM HSSE Policy and COMMIT Rule, the APMT/Maersk HSSE Management Framework, our Global HSSE Blueprint & Ways of Working and acts as a COE for Maersk/APMT Ways of Working.

As a member of the Global HSE Leadership Team this role is responsible for the managing the transformation of our Global HSE Teams collaborating with the Global Security and Business Resilience Team (GS&BR).

Key responsibilities


You will own and maintain the annual APMT & MOL S&R implementation milestone plan, in collaboration with the Security and Business Resilience Team, ensure that there is an understanding of any risks or gaps with mitigating plans in place.

Key tasks:

• Monitor the execution and impact of the HSE implementation plans, including capturing feedback from the global HSSE Community and other stakeholders
• In collaboration with the APMT Ways of Working Function assure implementation plans aligns with APMT Ways of Working principles and provide advice/support to implementation planning managers
• In collaboration with the Senior Engagement Manager provide input for communications and execute the HSE Improvement Team elements of the Functional communications plan
• Own and maintain APMM HSSE Policy and HSSE Commit Rule including COMMIT Spot Check Process and deliver annual report to Compliance Team.
• Owns the HSSE Integrated Brand management framework and monitors the development, execution and maintenance of the documentation and tools.
• Develop and maintain HSSE Blueprint, competency / skills framework, including talent and succession planning and capabilities assessment approach
• Responsible for the deployment and sustainability of WoW across the Safety & Resilience Function
• Ensure that S&R content is embedded across APMT and MO&L Operating Systems.
• Embed HSSE into APMT’s Ways of Working in collaboration with the APMT WoW Team,

We are looking for


The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors’ degree or diploma in health sciences, safety engineering/management, environmental engineering or related field combined with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in multi-national organization.

You must have sound knowledge of global environmental, health and safety regulatory and statutory requirements including management frameworks/systems

You:

• Exercise vision and sound judgment at both global and local levels. Must be willing to tackle tough issues with tact and diplomacy in a timely fashion

• Strong leadership, talent management, change execution, and financial management skills. Readily and actively contributes to the success of the global team

• Ability to act as change agent through interactions with others

• Have strong negotiation and influencing skills - Ability to verbally communicate concepts, motivate, influence and inspire others

• Have strong written and verbal communications skills

• Have the ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects and due dates

• Have the ability to work independently and within a virtual team

• Have excellent English language skills

• Are skilled at interfacing and operating in a large corporate environment.
