Crewing is responsible for ensuring that over 300 Maersk Vessels flying various Flags are always manned with competent crew while complying with various International regulations and Company procedures.
Our Crewing function part of Marine HR is run out of Singapore, Copenhagen, Mumbai and Manila while supported by Marine People offices based in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia.
You will contribute as a high-performing member of the team responsible for carrying out assigned operational duties and tasks in the Crewing function.
You will also drive regular process reviews and improvement in the Crew operations process.

Key responsibilities
Based in Copenhagen, you are reporting to the Head of Crewing in Singapore.
You will have the operational responsibilities pertaining to Crewing in Copenhagen, including:
• Independent management of full crew management of around 100 Vessels
• You will lead a team of 8 for the crew management of the Vessels under your responsibility
• Ensure smooth operation in accordance with STCW and Flag State requirements
• Knowledge and understanding of the Crew Request requirements of Maersk Crewing
• Work with Crew Operations team in other locations in ensuring that all Maersk Vessels are manned as per requirement
• Promptly ensuring compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements, SOPs and Key Performance Indicators
• Always ensure high quality performance and promote a spirit of continuous improvement.
• Process management, assist in ensuring that the agreed SOPs and guidelines are properly documented
• Ensure alignment with other strategic initiatives.
We are looking for
The ideal candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management.
You have experience from Leadership roles.
You:
• Possess a strong natural drive for results, excellent stakeholder management skills
• Possess a proactive and positive attitude, enthusiasm and ability to cooperate in an always open and constructive manner
• Have the ability to plan and execute in a structured manner is critical to succeed in the position
• Have managing and coaching skills and leadership experience.
• Have the ability to interact in an international setting as well as communicating efficiently in English is critical
• Is a strong team player, adaptable to change, comfortable with ambiguity, self-motivated and enjoys delivering High performance.
• Have solid knowledge of the international maritime industry.
