With significant personal responsibility, you will be functionally reporting to the CFO of L&S and interact with multiple stakeholders within Maersk, primarily across the various finance teams.
Your main responsibilities will be to drive key financial processes and operating system leading management reporting, financial planning, performance management and decision making in close collaboration with stakeholders in other finance and business teams and with senior management.
You will lead a team of highly skilled professionals and encourage their development, while delivering with speed and agility through them. You will interact with stakeholders with clear business and financial insights and perform analyses of performance and trends to identify and suggest appropriate actions. You will also lead the FP&A agenda across the company in close collaboration with the other segment and corporate FP&A heads.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and design the management reporting framework across a very diverse portfolio for all corporate cycles.
• Responsible for accurate, timely and aligned reporting of financial performance incl. KPIs to senior management.
• Ensure alignment between functions involved in the financial planning process.
• Own and facilitate the Maersk Operating System (MOS) and standard work within the L&S finance and frontlines finance organizations by driving the financial planning and process optimization.
• Lead and develop a team of four highly skilled professionals ensuring alignment of objectives and consistency of activities along the pipeline of projects.
• Ensure that the FP&A team deliver and enforce the investment framework and SGA processes within L&S.
• Partner with and support the CFO of L&S and the Global Head of L&S with financial planning and insights for decision making.
• Understand the business and finance footprint to proactively support with insight impacting forward looking business decision making and improve business results.
We are looking for
An ideal candidate should have below qualifications:
• Hold a Master’s degree in finance, economics or engineering (Cand.Merc, Cand.Polit, Cand.Oecon if from Denmark, or equivalent).
• Ideally you hold 8+ years of work experience from positions within finance, management reporting, financial planning and analysis, performance management, management and/or strategy consultancy, business development, or equivalent.
• You hold 3+ years of experience leading and developing effective teams.
• You have a thorough understanding of finance and a sincere interest in understanding the business to drive performance and value.
• You excel in stakeholder management and you are results driven with a strong logical and analytical capacity being well organized with high attention to detail.
• You are a self-starter with a strong driving force, striving for continuous improvement and wanting to solve problems even if finding answers are not easy.
• You are a team player who are used to and enjoy working independently with ability to engage with and influence, guide and challenge multiple stakeholders.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong integrity and a humble personality that goes well with people at all levels in a global organization.
• You will work with all levels of our organization which requires a clear understanding of the level of quality and commitment required to meet ambitious targets and transform our business as well as financial processes.
• You should have a ‘self-starter attitude’ and independently be able to focus, see opportunities and invite yourself to the table.
• You are skilled in written and spoken English.
