As Operational Excellence Lead, you will be part of the Accounting Transformation team with 71 team members split across Copenhagen, Pune, Chennai and Manila. The team acts as the process owner within Accounting to Reporting, and drives the Transformation Initiatives within our scope, while also playing a key role in enterprise-wide initiatives, such as the implementation of SAP 4/SHANA.
You will be at the forefront of transformation in our business, bringing to life the Vision in the most tangible way.
Key responsibilities:
The Operational Excellence Lead drives the implementation of a process and data-driven approach to the Accounting Transformation projects, will manage and own the operational excellence framework and drive the adoption of the transformational projects. The Operational Excellence Lead ensures that process performance is analyzed and root causes, as well as areas of improvement, are identified, requirements for future solutions are defined, and test, implementation and hyper-care of changes/improvements are supported in relevant functional areas.
- Develops, implements and Manages the Operational Excellence Framework, and ensures that it is applied to all projects within Accounting.
- Provides support on Accounting Transformation Projects,e.g. facilitation, ideation and data analysis.
- Drives the development and implementation of an ATR Process Dashboard measuring the standardization, automation and output quality with leading and lagging indicators.
- Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for achieving set objectives
- In collaboration with the ATR Operational Excellence team ensure that the projects are data-driven and based on a solid business case.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Engages with senior stakeholders within the organization and establishes effective communications and change management with them
- Develop internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various departments of the organization
- Communication with the organization emphasises the drive for standardization & adherence to set controls. Open two-way communication with the organization on any areas requiring further review
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
We are looking for:
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant experience working with process optimization, and Strong process and operational excellence skills with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Furthermore you:
- Have strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
- Have proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Have the ability to build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
- Are Self-motivated, and decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Support a diverse and inclusive work environment
