Our seafarers are at the center of everything we do and the experience they have with us has been very close to our heart for years.
We have a lot of unrealized potential within this area, and we are organizing our teams within the Marine People Strategy team to support this ambition and set ourselves up for the future. We don’t have all the steps mapped out and we will need to prioritize our projects to support our vision and ambition in the coming years.
In this role you, as a Marine Project Manager, you will manage the projects generated from lots of fantastic initiatives aiming to unfold this potential.
Key Responsibilities
Project management is a very underrated skill, and we are looking for someone who understands what it takes to scope, run, and deploy different high impact projects.
You should have previously worked with:
- Implementation of projects – both small and large. You need to have done it before and preferably on a global scale, but if not, then that is okay. If you have experience with driving something to conclusion (preferably also within budget and estimated timelines 😉) then we are good
- Development and conceptualization of ideas from strategy to deployable initiatives – It all looks very good on a strategy document, but how to convert those fancy ideas to something that we can deliver on and measure ourselves against is the tricky part!
- Courage to identify and to tell us what roadblocks we are facing and what we should do to remove them. No sugarcoating here please. We like it straight and direct, and you need to do the same.
- Data analytics (qualitative and quantitative) – If you can tell a story based on research and findings from the data that gets collected from various sources, you will be a star in our team!
- Experience with presentation building in PowerPoint, as we often are to present new initiatives within the organization
- Project plans, the enables us to run major global programs. It all starts with a plan – also the projects you’ll run and implement.

Furthermore, you will be able to work with great colleagues in the Marine People Strategy department enabling you to understand the complexity of a global company. In short, you will be playing an instrumental role in a fascinating and big transformation piece that also should enable you to develop and grow!
If you have knowledge about the maritime world, it would be great (!), but it is not a requirement. We value your strong project management skills wayyyy more!
