High paced role with accountability for Strategic Projects

The project management team is anchored under the global Contract Product Management function and is responsible for scoping, developing and realising strategic projects within among other contracting, pricing and product development. While being part of the wider Ocean organization, our touchpoints include all angles of the company, from end-to-end Logistics to Technology and Platforms.

The role of Senior Project Manager is highly transformational and founded on our ambition to modernize and digitize our ways of doing business based on customer needs, enabling the realization of our vision of becoming the Global Integrator of Logistics.

You will be part of the Contract Product team, a diverse and motivated team with a strong desire to transform our ocean business and generate sustainable returns

You will spar with, learn from- and contribute to the learning of peers in the Strategic Products team as well as in other functions involved in the ocean- and landside business.

In this role you will be a central part of our Strategic Projects team, a newly established part of Contract Product Management with the ambition to transform core parts of end-to-end logistics.

You will own one or more projects and be accountable for all aspects of project management.

Core Responsibilities

  • Mobilization, scoping and alignment on project vision and objectives through close stakeholder interactions

  • Establishing and running a project organization involving relevant team members across functions and geographies

  • Driving project planning, regular cadence of interactions and timely delivery on project milestones

  • Communicating progress as relevant via broadcasts, quarterly management sessions and ad-hoc updates

  • User adoption and change management as part of implementing solutions
  • Handover to business once the project is completed

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong background in project management, with a proven track record of driving transformation

  • Highly structured approach to planning and running complex projects

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels

  • Flourish in a high paced environment, and are able to manage multiple priorities at any given time

  • Strong collaborator, allowing you to develop strong cross-functional relationships and ability to influence and impact without authority.
  • Preferably an understanding of Technology and Platform development and/or end-to-end logistics.
