ABOUT THE JOB
You will primarily be responsible for managing our groups, from the negotiation starts to the guests leave the hotel. Together with the operational team, you are responsible for the success of the stay of our guest. You will be responsible to hold the weekly Groups meeting, and make sure all departments are informed about upcoming groups and VIPs. You will create close working relationships with international top-agents and large companies, and be responsible for maintaining the good relationship, to potentially receive new group bookings for further stays.

Together with the Revenue & Reservations team, you will be the Ambassador of the d’Angleterre in creating a first and lasting relation with our guests. You will also be the right hand to the Revenue & Reservations Manager, and assist with Revenue Management tasks on a daily basis, as well supporting the reservations team. In the absence of the Revenue Manager, you will be responsible to conduct Revenue Meetings, create daily revenue numbers for the management team, create the forecast, quality check of systems, attend morning meetings and be the main support for the operational teams around the hotel.

You will be expected to provide a service that lives up to the Leading Hotels of the Worlds’ standards and of course the standards of d’Angleterre. You will work in close relationship with the other departments of the hotel, and be a key figure, in order to elevate our guests and ensure that their needs are fulfilled.

We daily also work with booking of rooms, replies to various guests’ inquiries and daily quality checks, commissions, and updates of our systems as well as other ad hoc tasks. You will actively seek to understand and develop the ways of distribution of our rooms.

WE EXPECT
You are a highly dedicated and positive person, with excellent communication skills and a solid knowledge of guest service. You will develop a strong relationship to the team in the Reservations department, and ensure a thriving and well-functioning team, by creating a positive environment and being an active part of the team. You have experience in the hotel industry, with team management and with reservation duties. You understand revenue management and have experience with booking- and revenue systems like Ideas, Synxis, and Opera.

You are detail oriented, know how to prioritize your tasks, and are able to work independently. You are flexible in your working hours that can involve weekends and holidays. You are fluent in speaking and writing English and maybe speak other languages, Danish is a plus but not a requirement.
