We are looking for a service minded team player, with at least 6-7 years of experience with corporate security at management level, to fit into a dynamic Facility Management team.
To be a succes in this role you will be driven, open, collaborative, service-mindedness and results orientated. Similarly the role requires good communication skills, strong interest in continuous service improvement and optimization of processes.
The ability to direct strategies but achieve results through a 3rd party supplier is a prerequisite. Therefore systematic controlling and monitoring for adherence to approved strategies, policies, sourcing contracts and other guideline whilst retaining focus on business needs are key.
Responsibilities:
The Deputy Head of Security Maersk Facility Management Denmark assumes the overall responsibilities as follows:
- Coordinates and implements site security, operations and activities to ensure the protection of staff and assets.
- Offer technical support to ensure that best practice security measures and procedures are being implemented.
- Develops relationships with law enforcement and private sector counterparts
- Coordinates and implement and supervise security functions and on emergency help;
- Work closely with Building Maintenance to inspect all areas on campus to prevent from damage or danger; and
- Provide assistance during emergency regardless of time.
- Provide briefings to management as needed after incidents.
- Prepares and implement onsite security plans
- Prepares and implement onsite business continuity plans.
- Ensure that physical security and safety requirements and processes are followed and acts as a business enabler Aiding business and service owners in complying with physical security and safety requirements.
- Ensure that physical security, business continuity and safety measurements are operating as planned.
- Verification of cost drivers and cost allocation keys for the service
- Verification and documentation of costing baseline volumes
- Vendor and Contract Management
- Approval of change procedures and related contract renegotiations
- Formulation of On-site Security strategy, policies and maintenance regime.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate for this post to have an education/certification within Security Management and Business Continuity Management from recognized institutions.
You are self-driven, analytical, meticulous and structured person with a good understanding of contract management processes and the security service as a whole.
Futhermore you:
- Have leadership skills to provide direction to management.
- Have the ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization including briefing management on the status of security issues.
- Have excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Have Project Management skills
- Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to build good relationships with stakeholders
- Are trustworthy, calm, patient and focused
- Have excellent attention to detail, with an analytical and challenging mindset
- Have the ability to work with people at all levels in the organisation
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to quickly capture patterns in users need and interpret.
