In Network & Market, a part of our Ocean Product organization, we combine the commercial and operational dimension to support our “Transported by Maersk” strategy.
As Network & Market Manager for Europe/Middle East-East Africa/South Africa you will be responsible for the Profit and Loss, Service Delivery, and Sustainability in this major market.
You will work with colleagues from a variety of functions around the world, to design winning strategies and solutions, and guide decisions that make a real difference to our customers and their business.

Key Responsibilities
You are accountable for Profit and Loss, Service Delivery, as well as Sustainability in the Europe/Middle East-East Africa/South Africa market.
You
- Work in close partnership with our colleagues around the globe to ensure our strategy is developed and delivered to fit the market and our customers
- Analyze our commercial and operational performance to ensure we address root causes in our efforts to perform across a broad range of objectives
- Drive project work where your skills are needed or where your interests lie. We encourage people to pursue diverse and inspiring work
- Drive positive change in how we work – continuously improving how we work across teams, adopt new systems or process and make decisions to improve the customer experience.
Who we are looking for
You have +5 years’ experience from a similar role formulating strategies, designing solutions and creating results with others through effective engagement, data and excellent decision making.
You have great analytical skills and structure, able to solve complicated problems with large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data.
You are a positive and self-motivated person who can drive alignment, engagement and results through others.
You are a true collaborator and able to both support and question stakeholders across teams, functions and brands to achieve the best overall result.
You have great communication skills and are able to convey complicated issues in both written and oral English.
