Key Responsibilities:

As part of Maersk’s Global DE&I team, reporting to the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, you will have responsibility for shaping and driving key aspects of our DE&I strategy such as:

  • Strengthen the DE&I maturity journey for the organization by partnering as DE&I subject matter expert – giving perspective, insights and knowledge to stakeholders on areas in DE&I

  • Collaborate on and communicate out, the long-term plan focused on broadening the organizational view of DE&I and connect project-level successes to overall DEI outcomes/portfolio

  • Build, grow and support capability and capacity in the leaders and managers on DE&I: increase the scale and reach through improved offering and their access

  • Oversee the identification, development, implementation of initiatives that strengthen cross cultural intelligence at Maersk

  • Partnering with key stakeholders externally to support Maersk participation in programs that help us to build an external pipeline of diverse talent.

  • Accelerating our 5-year Gender Action Plan working with HR and leaders to support their progress in gender diversity and inclusion

  • Developing and implementing global policies that support diversity and inclusion

  • Use analysis of data to identify opportunities to progress diversity and inclusion

  • Working closely with our HR community to enable, support and provide expert knowledge on Diversity and Inclusion.

  • Working closely with our leaders and people managers to advise and support them in accelerating diversity and inclusion in their respective business areas.

  • Supporting our Inclusion networks in the essential work and impact they have across Maersk



We are looking for:

  • Experience in diversity, equity and inclusion management globally or across different regions in a large corporate environment.

  • Proven track record of leading successful, innovative, and impactful diversity work

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage and execute against multiple priorities

  • Strong communication skills and ability to solve complex issues within and across business areas

  • Experience of working in a globally diverse team and working across different cultures.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of empathy

  • Experience of successfully navigating and delivering within a complex organization

  • At ease with ambiguity and challenging the status quo

  • Have a track record of successfully influencing and engaging with senior leaders

  • Experience in the development and facilitation of DE&I capability building programs

  • Experience of driving impactful diversity and inclusion change programs across each stage of the employee life cycle from, attraction, recruitment, talent management, engagement and retention

  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office applications.
