Be responsible for managing day-to-day Process Academy activities, ensuring ‘lights are always on’. Our newly formed Process Academy has been created to support the critical upskilling of the Ocean & Logistics Process organisation enabling accelerated transformation as part of our integrator strategy.
We Offer
As our new Process Academy Manager, you will join our recently formed Process Academy within Transformation Office, who is an active part of making our integrator strategy come true.
You will become a part of the Transformation Office and report to the Head of Process Academy. You will work in a small impactful team with significant exposure to all levels of Maersk including senior management.
In your new role, you will be responsible for day-to-day management of the Process academy ranging from participant enrollment, venue & participant coordination, training & knowledge repository platforms, academy marketing & communication plus experiencing the icing on the cake, when you help executing graduation events.
Since you will join the Process academy while it is still at an early stage you have a huge opportunity to help shaping the future academy setup with both internal stakeholders and potential external 3rd training partners. This also means your key responsibilities are not carved in stone and expected to evolve over time.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include the following, amongst others:
Managing all day-to-day academy activities to support rest of Process Academy Team to design and execute existing training programs or add-on modules. In practical terms this means among other;
- Manage delivery of Process Academy training programs which includes scheduling, logistical (venue) planning, trainer availability, participant registrations, take part of training execution & follow-ups including ensuring Learning Management System is up to date. We also see you taking part of running training (virtual) kick-offs, refreshers & Q&A sessions, in collaboration with your Process Academy colleagues.
- Ensuring best in class training materials design (quality assurance) and layout (look & feel) and other artefacts to create awareness of the Academy. Also includes training material content is up to date (versioning) and maintained on our various Knowledge repositories (Team site and SharePoint site).
- Maintain Academy data quality of all critical activities to support or run the Process Academy. This includes MyLearning, Progress reporting hereunder PowerBI (used to track performance of training programs), MIRO boards deployed for virtual trainings, official Microsoft Team sites in place and our Process Academy SharePoint site
- Constantly being on the look-out to simplify & automate relevant parts of your academy work together with rest of Process Academy team. This includes exploring how to replicate more of other existing academies “community of practice” structures to help growing and sustaining our growing process community, so that we unleash the full potential to learn and grow from each other
- Drive Process Academy marketing (branding) and communication efforts to relevant stakeholders (newsletters, townhalls etc.). This could also involve representing Process Academy through various channels including joining virtual/face-to-face training sessions to help creating excitement to ensure a positive learning experience for our participants. And from time to time, also assist Head of Academy in building relevant communication material for senior management
- Keep yourself up to date with relevant learning management trends and innovations, to continue to push how we continuously design, implement, and sustain the learning experience of for our participants
- This role is not a people-managing role. Focus is more on project/process management capabilities
We are looking for

You have proven experience with the following:
- Proven track record of making quality deliverables (project management skills) – on time and with clear business impact
- Ability to create structure (methodical) and drive standardization at scale
- Strong process-oriented approach to work and excellent attention to detail
- Learning & Development (L&D) experience or alternatively an event planning background
- Excellent written and verbal skills with people at all levels across the organisation in English
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and deal with ambiguity. A self-starter
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, working on several initiatives concurrently
- Ability to influence without authority
- Ability to challenge status quo to keep optimize and scale Process Academy setup
- High cultural awareness
- A passion for learning, people engagement, and working in an environment where inspiration & supporting each other is key
