Maersk Air Cargo is the cargo airline arm of A.P. We are looking for new colleagues in our Air Assets Category Management team. We are looking for two assistant category managers to join our team. As Assistant Category Manager for Maintenance, you will work closely with the Category Manager for Maintenance and the Maersk Air Cargo Maintenance organisation to develop a global strategy. As Assistant Category Manager for Owned Assets, you will work closely with the Senior Category Manager for Air Assets for Aircraft purchase projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Working closely with Maersk Air Cargo to:

  • Support the development and implementation of a playbook to standardise procurement processes
  • Support negotiations and contracting
  • Deliver category specific inputs to Air Asset Category Playbook
  • Support the TCO model analysis of aircraft maintenance costs
  • Develop and implement relevant processes enabling category standardization and scalability
  • Stakeholder management with relevant internal and external partners
  • Participate in regular engagement with key suppliers
  • Support the Category Management team with ad hoc tasks

Who we are looking for:

  • Min 2 years’ experience with focus on Procurement, Sourcing, Network, Airline operations
  • Category Management experience is an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management and strong communication skills
  • Comfortable with senior executives
  • Ability to adapt approach and communication to audience
  • Ability to exercise impact without direct authority
  • Ability to constructively challenge the status quo
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator in English
