As the Global Customer Solutions & Innovation team in the Global Commercial organization, you deliver multi source high quality insights to inform decisions on the right integrated solutions the organization should pursue and enable our senior sales leadership team in operating as thought leaders.

You have a passion for commercial innovation, and the tools to design, develop and activate insights for integrated solution development within logistics. You are experienced in advising, recommending and delivering customer insights with the purpose of successful innovations.

In advising the larger organisation on industry specific trends and impact, you strive to drive best practice and ways to maximize impact across our global network of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Subject matters expert on customer trends and ensure relevant stakeholders convert those into data driven long-term strategies & business opportunities

  • Lead, curate, execute and activate actionable best-in-class customer insights for development of customer-centric integrated logistics solutions

  • Creatively produce and activate research findings in workshops/co creation sessions across a large variety of stakeholders

  • Lead on research methodologies and design for exploration and concept validation research and ability to translate to the wider stakeholders



  • Work cross-functionally and support the wider team with requirements documentation and testing on prototyping and solutions space

  • Prepare documentation around standard operating procedures for insights

  • Have budget responsibility in regards to research, managing external agencies, and maximising value for money.



Secondary:

  • Engage and consult on insights creation with internal stakeholders across regions (sales, regional insights colleagues, product managers, marketing, etc.) to refine and better translate data into insights



  • Design, develop and manage the thought leadership dashboard that will include macro and micro level information across different industry verticals and customer behaviour and future trends.



We are looking for

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in consumer research in industry and/or as consultant, preferably with experience in logistics and supply chain (B2B or B2C).

  • Demonstrated experience delivering best-in-class strategic insights identifying growth opportunities, using your analytical and logical mindset to solve exceptionally complex problems and drive decision making by using qualitative and quantitative insights to achieve the targets



  • Deep consumer behavioral curiosity and passion for advocating for customers, proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to overlay commercial acumen to developed insights and recommendations

  • Broad industry knowledge of research designs, companies and practices that drive best in class results

  • Great communicator who understands the importance and power of the written word when communicating within the team and stakeholders. You can work with senior stakeholders in the head office and ensure their buy-in when driving new ideas and change, which will be the main focus for FY2023

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Min. Master’s degree preferably with a focus on Business and Social Sciences, Shipping & Logistics



  • You are comfortable addressing ambiguity, for example, shifting priorities or unfamiliar problems

  • You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability whilst leading by example with a roll-up your sleeves mentality

  • Location: Copenhagen, Denmark preferred but not a must if you embrace a work from anywhere with focus on delivery and presence mindset.
