We Offer
An exciting role where you become an important member of our growing ERM team, driving and supporting the identification and management of key risks across Maersk. As ERM Business Partner, you will be responsible for conducting the annual ERM process with risk owners in the individual businesses. You will develop and maintain risk registers including articulation and quantification of the risks. You will facilitate the creation of risk mitigation action plans and monitor and follow up on them to track progress and effect. You will provide reliable and effective reports to senior management and Board of Directors.
You will interact with colleagues, build a strong, professional network across Maersk, and cooperate closely with professionals in all businesses and have exposure to a global network, spread across 135 countries.
The ERM Team is part of Maersk Treasury and Risk department. This position is based in our HQ in Copenhagen.
Key Responsibilities
o Engaging business and function management teams in the identification and articulation of key risks through workshops or other
o Work with ERM risk analyst to quantify the risks
o Facilitate and support on building of mitigation actions plans
o Follow up on the development of the risks
o Build and present effective reporting on risks to Management
o Initiate measures to strengthen ERM culture across the company and ensure the relevance of ERM Commit rule is maintained
o Drive performance management of risks through quarterly reviews with management teams
Who we are looking for:
You have an advanced degree in Business Administration, Journalism, Law, Finance or similar.
You have a good understanding of risks within Logistics or in operations of large multi-national corporations
Furthermore you:
• Are able to engage with a large variety of stakeholders including senior executives
• Have a critical mindset and are not afraid of asking difficult questions
• Are proactive – you have the ability and confidence to work on own initiative
• Have experience working in a challenging, fast paced and changing environment dealing with a lot of different tasks at the same time
• Are collaborative and work for the success of the team.
• Have a well-structured approach to the job and an outgoing and enthusiastic personality
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills, you are fluent in spoken and written English, while Danish is not required.
