About the Role

Reporting into the M&A Integration Lead in Transformation, the Business Case Performance Manager is responsible for following up on - and pro-actively driving - all pockets of value creation across functions and geographies to ensure delivery of the overall business case. The Business Case Performance Manager also functions as the Workstream Orchestration Manager for the Synergies and Value Creation workstream and works closely with the Finance Business Partner to track all relevant aspects of the business case and establish visibility of same.

As Business Case Performance Manager, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Ensure overall delivery of the business case through monitoring and driving all pockets of value creation. This includes identifying additional value creation opportunities not captured in the business case and making sure these are incorporated into the overall integration plan.
  • Challenge and support functions and geographies to achieve and exceed their value creation targets both via participation in official performance reviews and separate sparring.
  • Function as Workstream Orchestration Manager for the Synergies and Value Creation workstream and thereby ensure the establishment, maintenance and execution of the workstream project plan. Also, responsible for managing interdependencies and resolving conflicts with other workstreams.
  • Work closely with the Finance Business Partner to ensure appropriate tracking of the business case and setting up dashboards (or similar) to provide the necessary insight across stakeholders.
  • Is ideally involved starting from business case verification during the Due Diligence phase
  • Use appropriate M&A tooling (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerBI) and implement best practice processes to support integration
  • Ensure support for the Integration Lead by cascading decisions, provide reporting and cover where necessary
  • Play key role in driving daily M&A integration efforts and provide answers to PMO and integration related answers from across the organization
  • Establish and maintain effective information and file sharing tools (e.g. SharePoint & Teams)
  • Gather formal and consistent ‘lessons learned’ capture; dissemination and improvement tracking for acquisitions and divestments

  • Support the M&A integration lead as necessary

We Are Looking For Someone Who...

  • Strong independent drive and goal-orientation as well as a high level of integrity, combined with the ability to set and meet ambitious targets
  • Ability to lead, motivate and influence with and without authority particularly in complex and challenging M&A environments
  • Strong business understanding to be able to challenge & support plans to deliver the business case
  • Excellent team working, collaboration and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Ability to manage and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Program management & PMO understanding
  • Understanding of the M&A process (e.g. key activities during due diligence, integration planning, etc.)

Location flexible within Europe.
