Senior Program Manager – Price Automation
Location: Copenhagen/London

The Senior Program Manager, Price Automation will lead our journey towards end-to-end price automation, enabling machine learning and solution pricing across our 13 product families. Initially, by driving experimentation at an increasing scale, synthesizing learnings and driving change management across stakeholders at all levels. As an ambassador for continued price digitization, you will drive thought leadership and educate product managers and business stakeholders on the fundamental concepts of price automation, machine learning and AI.
You must be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and be able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. This is a highly visible position that interact at all levels of the company. You must have the ability to quickly formulate strategies and plans that are deeply backed by data and drive execution across many work functions and teams simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- You will play a key role in realizing the potential of our global pricing initiative, a cornerstone in Maersk’s 2030 vision, by spearheading the journey from traditional- and individual pricing with limited usage of data and analytics towards fully automated pricing
- You will work closely with our wider Platforms-, Technology- and Analytics team in realizing our 2023 roadmap while creating the roadmap for 2024 and beyond. This includes building price automation capabilities which can be applied to several product families within the company
- You will lead the roll-out, adoption and value realization of initiatives related to Price Automation in close cooperation with Tech development teams and business stakeholders at all levels
- You will be responsible for the identification, planning and coordination of a set of related projects within Price Automation to manage their interdependencies and accelerate initiative realization over the coming years
- Along with the wider team and colleagues across regions and countries, you will define business requirements, and translation of requirements into operational plans. Determination, monitoring, and review of program scope, costs, and schedule, program resources, interdependencies and program risk.
- You will inspire and motivate teams to accomplish big tasks and be a go-to person for Price Automation related topics within the company
- You will engage with your peers and stakeholders to identify opportunities, actively seek out areas of ambiguity that impact our ability to accelerate price automation and define strategies to apply analytical approaches to resolve ambiguity, bring focus and clear methodology.
- You will communicate with senior leaders and stakeholders across Maersk. You will be expected to support key strategic decisions by delivering high quality analysis and conclusions through written documents and memos.
- Be a pragmatic problem solver, applying judgment and experience to balance trade-offs between competing interests. You will be flexible, adapting your approach to meet the needs of the team, the customers, and the project or product.
- Lead and actively participate in Price Automation reviews, aligning teams towards coherent experimentation, developments and rollout. You bring clarity to complexity, probe assumptions, illuminate pitfalls, and foster shared understanding.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in Program Management within a digitally native business
- Demonstrated track record of data driven story telling and crafting compelling automation strategies leveraging analytical insights, structuring complex ideas to drive clarity, consensus and simplify decision making processes
- Proven transformation track record, leading complex transformations through a highly structured approach, strong written and verbal communication and change management
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and earn trust with stakeholders ranging across the Maersk operating functions.
- An MBA or Masters degree in economics, statistics, or other engineering and science disciplines is preferred, not mandatory.
