The Role
Our team are delivering world-class data-driven solutions with Industry recognized leaders in data and AIML.
In this role you will be directly exposed to C-suite leadership in Maersk and by nature of the role you will build a strong network within Maersk. You will be expected to grow in the role, and in time into more senior roles as aligns with your interest – across either product, technology, or business teams.
The Executive Business Partner plays a vital role in providing administrative support to the Chief Data Officer (CDO), who is responsible for all data, insights and AIML working with all business and technology teams. Data/AI is critical to all teams globally at Maersk, from setting the Enterprise AIML strategy to transforming entire industries like transportation, ports and warehouses. Our team delivers world-class data-driven solutions with Industry recognized leaders in Data/AI, speaking at global events like the Economist Summit, London Tech Week or Amazon Reinvent.
Day to Day could look like
- Proactively prioritizing key priorities and deliverables based on requests from multiple partners at various levels
- Agility to manage incoming requests from C-Suite, Board and other key stakeholders
- Acting as a bridge and trusted partner between CDO and their leadership team, and key stakeholders across the Maersk organisation
- Managing and support projects within the CDO’s team (e.g., event planning, on– and offboarding, coordination of meetings with internal and external partners)
- Maintaining team administration such as updating CDO’s Distribution Lists, Microsoft SharePoint sites, and support draft/posting of relevant communications to Teams/Yammer to support change management.
- Orchestration of travel and calendar management, potentially other minor administrative tasks such as occasional invoices
- Driving team activities and be the culture champion for the team, as well as planning and communicating key team updates/news
- Supporting and helping drive CDO’s strategic projects
Who We’re Looking For
- Passionate about collaboration with a strong team, stepping into our operating rhythm
- Strong interest in data and AI/ ML would be beneficial to support with strategic tasks
- Experience in supporting senior stakeholders
- Experience of working across different regions, cultures and ability to support a diverse set of technologies from OpenAI to Quantam Computing
- Outstanding attention to detail in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ability to exercise good judgment, tact, and discretion when dealing with confidential and highly sensitive information
- Proactive in setting and managing tasks and priorities in a global organization, willing to ask for help given uncertainty
- Excellent stakeholder management and organizational skills, interpersonal and collaborative team skills and a true can-do attitude.
- Strong Project Management skills; ability to drive results and remove unnecessary complexity
- Confident in working autonomously, exercising resourcefulness and full ownership over responsibilities
