The Platforms organization is at the forefront of developing cutting edge technologies to improve the customer’s experience with personalized and automated end-to-end digital journeys, that enable Maersk customers to access standardized products and services seamlessly. The Platforms help enable Maersk’s vision to be the Global Integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying customers’ supply chains. Additionally, the team creates the foundation to integrate data, systems and processes, powered by scalable Digital Infrastructure.
We are looking for an ambitious Program manager with large scale software oriented project management skills.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Business Sponsors, Platform and Technology teams to plan and manage the implementation scenarios based on business requirements, product readiness, and data migration.
- Budgeting for business resource requirements.
- Coordinating with various teams, including IT, finance, and fleet operations to ensure a successful implementation.
- Providing training and support to end-users on the Ship Management Application.
- Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the implementation process.
- Leadership skills to manage a team of super-users who will be involved in training end-users.
- Strong project management skills.
- Effective stakeholder management.
We are looking for
• Demonstrates in depth knowledge and experience of large scale ERP/EAM implementation.
• Ability to deliver results in complex environment and relentlessly identifying hurdles and managing resolution through engagement and value based trade-offs with stakeholders along with strong attention to detail
• Ability to take ownership of complex and important products, critically evaluate ideas and make effective decisions. Candidate should apply project management to foresee implementation risks.
• Awareness of cloud based software concepts with strong experience in agile project management and effective business acumen.
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills aligned with Maersk’s core values
• Must hold a degree in Science, Engineering or other technical field or relevant work experience in similar field. Additional education in Project management is preferred.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills, displaying the ability to connect, build relationships and effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
• Brings 8+ years of experience working in project management or program management functions.
