We are looking for a seasoned HSSE Leader to set the global standards for Crisis Management, Business Continuity Management, and Business Resilience (BR) Integration across the business and support in the implementation of these standards from the Regional BR team who supports Area and frontline teams. The leader will be accountable for the overall Business Resilience strategy, plans, and procedures for L&S (Logistics & Services) and APMT (APM Terminals) and also set clear standards for minimum HSSE & BR requirements in M&A processes for growth and actual integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team of functional experts spanning HSSE and Business Resilience.
  • Create a culture of care and inclusion, where diverse voices are heard, and people feel safe to speak up.
  • Responsible for BR strategy and S&R standards for integration and growth ensuring there is a strong vision linking to the business strategy and a clear execution plan.
  • Engage with executive management, senior leaders, sales organization, and when possible, with customers promoting our value proposition and ensuring the narrative around BR&I is clear.
  • Proactively engage in the development of the BR and S&R integration structures that are customer-centric and minimize end-user complexity.
  • Continuously strengthen our crisis management capabilities and preparedness at levels Lv.1 and Lv.0 (Corporate) and ensure Regional BR managers have the structure to handle the Lv.2 crisis.
  • Advise and support brands, L&S regions/Areas, and Terminals in live crisis handling.
  • Act as Crisis Coordinator in the actual handling of Lv.1 and Lv.0 crisis and ensure executive management are kept abreast of steps taken to resolve live crisis.
  • Ensure there is an effective structure for how frontline stakeholders receive tools and guidance to implement a strong BR and integration structure.
  • Ensure that there are updated Commit Rules in place providing clear guidance, setting minimum requirements for Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management, and ensuring an annual assurance program.
  • Support business and our people with medical advice and optimize plans through Company MD.

What you bring:

  • Proven track record of building and leading HSSE capabilities at a global scale, preferably also with Business Resilience (Business Continuity Management and Crisis Management).
  • Proven track record in large global organizations, with a preference for experience in logistics-related businesses and organizations.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams toward a shared vision with clear goals.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a complex and stressful environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders across several levels.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, both internal and external, to achieve our business objectives.
  • Strong prioritization and delegation skills.
  • Ability to stay cool and make informed decisions in crisis situations.
  • Promote a customer-centric mindset making our value promotion even stronger.
