At the Center for Quantum Devices, Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen we have a number of scientific research programs sponsored among others by ERC Synergy, the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Danish National Research Foundation. We are looking for a highly motivated person to take on the role of Project Coordinator to take on the administrative task related to these programs.
About
Your workplace will be at the Center for Quantum Devices (QDev) where the research evolves around quantum phenomena and electronic properties of nanostructures made of hybrid materials such as semiconductors, superconductors, and ferromagnetic insulators.
The position
We are looking to hire a Project Coordinator with a diverse range of responsibilities, including hiring students and researchers, coordinating visitors, and preparing media (documents, websites, and slides) for outreach and reporting. Experience in managing people and budgets, including working with funding agencies, technical and academic staff, and university administration is important.
Qualifications
You should have previous experience with coordinating research projects. Experience working in an university environment is an advantage, as well as experience with EU projects.
You will be part of an administrative team, but you will also need to work independently and take ownership for your tasks.
You should thrive in a dynamic international environment and adapt well to a fast pace and to ever-changing conditions. You are expected to both speak and write English fluently. Some knowledge of Danish may be helpful but is not required for the position.

Terms of employment
The position is a 1-year position with a start date of October 1st, 2021.
If you have an academic education, employment and remuneration are in accordance with the agreement for Academics in the State with a classification as a clerk.
If you do not have an academic education, employment and remuneration are in accordance with the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees' Organizations - The State Area (OAO Joint Agreement) and the Organization Agreement for Office Employees, Laboratory Workers and IT Employees (HK) with a classification in salary after seniority. Depending on competencies and experience, it will be possible to negotiate supplements.
