A very interesting role where you will be a part of Commercial L&S team and a key contributor for a profitable and sustainable L&S growth of Sealand Europe & Med in our journey to become Intra-European Integrator of container logistics.

This role will be responsible for the implementation of regional L&S growth strategy across all service models with a strong internal stakeholder engagement, identification of the growth initiatives and coordination of execution via directing team efforts.

Key responsibilities


Reporting into the Head of L&S Business Development you will be responsible for the identification of regional L&S growth accelerators and coordinate the actions to drive those initiatives.

You will have strong collaboration and coordination with stakeholders within the regional and Global L&S product teams to stay on top of new developments, initiatives, products, and services and adjust Sealand L&S growth plans and VPs if required.

Other key tasks:

• Consistently communicate with sales and current/prospective customer base to understand what the market needs and values are.
• Regional view of L&S pipeline performance through SFDC and align local actions with L&S BDV Managers and local stakeholders.
• Monitoring L&S performance by customer level for top customers and support to maintain high L&S penetration.
• Promote solutions across the organisation with best practice sharing.
• Ensure that the frontline community is engaged, trained, and aligned around logistics through regular communication.
• Participate in some strategic customer meetings and workshops to promote logistics at senior level with frontline and HQ stakeholders.
• Actively participate in L&S forecast/budgeting processes across all products to ensure accuracy and long-term strategic objectives are considered with smart targets set for clusters per L&S products.
• Planning of sales collaterals and L&S marketing campaigns in coordination with Marketing Manager.
• Maintaining and development of L&S operating system jointly with business finance.

We are looking for


The successful candidate must display excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and confidence or ability to converse, deal with, influence and motivate various stakeholders of all levels.

You have at least 10 years of experience in a matrix, multi-cultural logistics organisation in a commercial role and you have the ability to lead without authority.

You have Logistics and Supply Chain experience including ocean freight experience - Industry expertise in one of the following (Retail, Tech, FMCG, Fruits &Veg) is a plus – but not a requirement.

Furthermore you:

• Have strong analytical skills and experience in acting based on data
• Have developed strategical thinking and commercial acumen
• Have a customer-centric, consulting approach to identifying customer and market needs
• Have a solid understanding of logistics product features and benefits and how they address customer pain points
• Collaborative Stakeholder management
• Strong ability to facilitate cross-functional decision-making and execution
• Fluency in English language is required

As a person you are self-motivated, self-starter and performance driven – with good written and verbal communication skills.
