The Head of the Integration Management Office is based in Copenhagen and is reporting to the VP Business Finance. You will become part of the Extended Management Team of the Logistics Division and be able to set and lead a team to support the M&A agenda and integration projects. This is senior level role.

Key responsibilities

Lead the Integration Management Office to integrate acquired logistics companies into DFDS Logistics:

  • Own and drive the integration governance of all ongoing M&A integrations
  • Set a clear governance structure
  • Coordinate and collaborate across multiple workstreams
  • Stakeholder management both in DFDS and the acquired businesses’ stakeholders
  • Drive progress across integration projects and ensure harvesting of synergies
  • Provide support the progressive M&A agenda in DFDS, both recent acquisitions and M&A pipeline in collaboration with the M&A department
  • Provide input on integration planning as part of due diligence process for M&A targets
  • Ad hoc projects across the logistics division can occur

The ideal candidate

  • Experienced project manager with excellent project management skills (establish project governance, identify, and involve needed stakeholders at all levels, drive progress)
  • Ideally experience managing a team – not a must
  • Relevant professional experience e.g., from management consulting or in-house strategy or business development function
  • M&A experience (e.g., due diligence, transaction work or integration work) is a benefit but not a requirement
  • Educational background in for instance business administration, economics, finance, or strategy, but could also be from a technical university
  • Excellent analytical and communication skillsAdvanced PowerPoint and Excel
  • 5-10 years of working experience, including significant exposure to executive managers
  • Full professional proficiency in English
