At DFDS, we are committed to a climate-neutral future, and are working proactively to make this a reality for all areas of our business and for the customers we serve. To accelerate the pace of our green transition, we have established a central Decarbonisation Team, with the mission to drive alignment across all of our decarbonisation activities company-wide. In practice, that means setting strategies and targets, establishing the pathway to net-zero, and managing the portfolio of projects – technical, commercial and operational – related to decarbonisation.
The Head of Decarbonisation Pathway is a key role in the team and will be responsible for the overall decarbonisation pathway to 2050, and managing a small team of business, financial and data analysts. This role will work closely with both the Decarbonisation Portfolio Team and stakeholders around the business to ensure that pathways are effectively translated into projects and that progress against key pathway KPIs and milestones is monitored.
Key responsibilities include:
Requirements:
We prefer that you are based at our HQ in Copenhagen, and you will report directly to the Vice President, Head of Decarbonisation.
About you
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience within shipping, transport and logistics.

We expect you to be motivated by being part of a small, diverse and high-performing team who embrace challenge and change, and in which all team members relish working top to bottom in their roles.
Why?
Successful candidates will join a talented, passionate, innovation- and delivery-focused team, within a company that is committed to sustainability. All team members are expected to take ownership of their own responsibilities, further develop their own role, and contribute to the development and direction of the team as a whole.
