Sales Global Supply Chain Management & Transformation
Global Supply Chain (GSC) is within the CSO organisation with dotted line report into the COO function. The SVP of GSC is sitting in both management teams. GSC is a global organisation with more than 200 employees based in different locations all around the world (we have some central functions and a regional set up adjusted to the Vestas Sales Business Units (SBU’s) set-up). We manage 100,000’s of shipments across our worldwide factories in our global supply chain every year.
Reporting to the VP of GSC Management & Transformation, this position combines supply chain management and transformation.
On supply chain management: the position acts as the articulation between the CSO office, the GSC Planning team and the Regional Supply Chain teams. It is focused on managing the demand-side of the demand/supply balance.
On transformation: the position contributes to initiatives impacting processes, capabilities, organisation, IT and performance across the GSC organisation.

Additional information

Responsibilities
Demand management
- Monitor the demand for the short-term horizon and control the quality of the tier 1 and tier 2 projects (milestones and content)
- Facilitate the arbitration between projects when required
- Monitor the FOI (Firm Order Intake) versus plan, assess the impact of deviations and coordinate action with the CSO office, the Regional Supply Chain teams and the GSC Planning team
- Support the CSO office and the regions with a timely and accurate view of the “left-to-sell”, i.e. the capacity available for sell in the 12 months horizon
Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE)
- Participate to the weekly S&OE process between the global and regional planning teams, identify and documents cases to be elevated to be the executive team
- Facilitate the weekly executive S&OE meeting with the heads of construction, supply chain and sales
- Ensure the readiness of GSC for the Deal Preparation Committees led by the CSO office with the regions
Transformation
- Identify opportunities for improving processes, capabilities, organisation, IT and performance, in the framework of the GSC strategy
- Clarify objectives, resources, timeline and risks. Identify and manage stakeholders
- Conduct or support transformation initiatives until successful completion
Qualifications
- University Degree and minimum of 8 years supply chain experience. A commercial experience is a plus
- Fluent English. Danish is a plus
Competencies
- Ability to engage and influence senior leaders across the organisation
- Ability to negotiate and find solutions
- Thorough understanding of commercial and supply chain processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
