You will head our Business Development department in the global management team
As our new Head of Business Development you will be leading an agile Business Development Team with responsibility for driving business development and strategic initiatives across Ramboll Management Consulting in Germany, Belgium, UK, US and the Nordic countries. The Business Development team works from Ramboll Head Office in Copenhagen. You will be leading two full-time consultants/senior consultants, a student assistant, and an intern. You will also work with colleagues from many other business divisions and competencies within our global company. Our work culture is informal and appreciative of entrepreneurship.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Driving the global strategy and business plan processes across RMC

  • Leading and implementing strategic initiatives with support from the team

  • Business and Sales Excellence, including securing insight on markets, competitors, and key clients

  • Executive management support on Board meeting preparation as well as supporting the ongoing business fora

  • Facilitate and drive deliverables in close collaboration with representative from relevant business support areas and business, while ensuring alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders

  • People manager for the team

  • A relevant MSc degree (e.g. Strategy, Economics, M&A, Business Administration) with excellent results

  • 4+ years of experience with project management from a strategy/management consultancy or global organization, preferably within the field of sustainability and digitalization (environment, social, governance).

  • Superior communication skills in English – both verbally and in writing

  • Preferably domain knowledge within Ramboll’s domains, such as the Energy, Transport, Public Administration, Buildings, Water or Architecture sectors.

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

  • Ability to address tasks strategically and develop solutions addressing the need of line of business

  • Solid interpersonal skills and a strong motivation to drive change at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly (both verbally and in writing) and transform complex matters into a coherent storyline
