Do you want to impact the future external financial reporting for Vestas? Do you want to impact how Executive Management communicates externally around Vestas’ financial performance? And do you want to be part of M&A transactions? If yes to all – then you may be the candidate that we are looking for in our Group Finance department in Vestas.
Finance Group Finance External Reporting & M&A Support
You will be an important team member in the department External Reporting & M&A Support which is part of Vestas’ Group Finance organisation. It is a dedicated team of app. 5 motivated and talented specialists. The department is responsible for informative and high-quality external reporting and providing insights to Executive Management as preparation for quarterly and annual investor presentations. The team is responsible for enabling the finance organisation to comply with Vestas Reporting principles (Vestas GAAP). Last but least the department is involved in and responsible for the execution of finance related M&A activities.

Finance Group Finance External Reporting & M&A Support

The department is responsible for informative and high-quality external reporting and providing insights to Executive Management as preparation for quarterly and annual investor presentations. The team is responsible for enabling the finance organisation to comply with Vestas Reporting principles (Vestas GAAP). Last but least the department is involved in and responsible for the execution of finance related M&A activities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing the Group Annual Report and Interim Financial Reports
- Contract to auditors and prepare documentation for the auditors
- Ensuring External Reporting Compliance
- Drive improvements to the external financial reporting to ensure Vestas provides financial information needed by users of Vestas’ financial reporting
- Responsible for implementing new IFRS standards, preparing and enhancing Vestas GAAP Guidelines, prepare for and run Vestas GAAP Trainings and offer consultancy
- Participate in finance related M&A activities
Qualifications
- Finance professional with 5+ years IFRS experience
- Ability to assess financial risks and implement key control activities to reduce the risks to an acceptable level
- Ability to identify and involve business stakeholders
Competencies
- Good level of theoretical accounting / IFRS knowledge combined with solid practical experience on complex accounting matters from another Nasdaq large cap company or experience from IFRS reporting from an audit firm
- Good communication and presentation skills and ability to effectively handle stakeholders and actively engaging them
- Good project management skills
- Good methodical and systematical skills
- Professional English skills – both oral and written
- You act with integrity and accountability, take initiative and ownership and can work with limited supervision
