We are looking for a Maternity cover for a Team Leader – Congress & Events Sales, with potential for a permanent role within the business – is it you?

An opportunity to join BC Hospitality Group at an exciting time, as demand increases, our team grows, and our new space, Bella Arena, has it’s first events.

The position will give you a unique opportunity to work with Northern Europe’s largest congress center and our international hotel brands. This is exciting times as we have recently opened our new 7000 sqm pillar free space, expanding the opportunities for our clients at Bella Center Copenhagen.

You will be instrumental in leading the sales team working with international Associations, Corporates and large scale Exhibitions from 1,000 – 30,000 attendees, as well as developing new segments, such as Concerts, TV Production & Sports events.

Opgaver

  • Team Management (6 Sales Managers & 1 Coordinator)
  • Leading the team to deliver the Sales Strategy
  • Responsibility for delivering against annual revenue targets
  • Sparring with team on client negotiations
  • Forecasting & Yield Management
  • Presenting business updates & revised figures at management meetings
  • Working with Wonderful Copenhagen (Copenhagen Convention Bureau) to secure new business within the sales strategy
  • Client Management (from lead generation, complex bid presentations, to contract negotiations). You will manage your own portfolio of clients.

Om dig

  • You have line management experience
  • You have documented sales results from the industry, as well as knowledge and networks within the industry
  • You possess high commercial insight and understanding
  • You are outgoing and you naturally create relationships
  • You have in-depth experiences with negotiations of major contracts
  • You have a high level in both written and spoken English, and ideally Danish
  • You possess strong collaboration skills, overview, sense of detail and passion for your profession
  • You have at least 6 years of relevant experience

You will become part of a team where we work well together, support each other, and emphasize on cooperation to achieve specific goals for the department as well as individual goals. You will have many touch points with different teams internally as well as various external partners.
